A quiet and studious young man from a distant nation(tbd), pushed into fleeing his homeland by his parents to save him from being drafted into the Garlean army.

Sixth and youngest child to an Eorzean mercenary from the Black Shroud and a traveliing merchant, Azah'to quickly proved to be a prodigy in the arts of arcanima. As a result, his parents pushed for him to attend a prestigious private school, unaware of the racial discrimination that met him there. Despite this, Azah'to flourished in the environment(if you disregard the bullying that he initially experienced) and grew into an aaccomplished academic; his efforts had even landed him an invitation to study in Sharlayan.

However, shortly before receiving his acceptance letter, Azah'to's homeland was swept by Garlean invasion, trapping Azah'to within his homeland. Fearing for their youngest's safety, Azah'to's parents and siblings conspired to hide Azah'to and sneak him out of the country, at their own expense. Five years later, he was snuck out in the hold of a merchant's ship bound for Limsa Lominsa, where hopefully his mother's former contacts would be able to help him start a life from himself.

By a twist of luck(?), Azah'to became tangled in Scion business, setting him on a path that would lead to him becoming Eorzea's Warrior of Light...
